Augustine and Adaeze Ngoddy
Augustine and Adaeze Ngoddy opened Rex Childcare in August of 1992. The center has continued to grow since its opening. Mrs. Ada cultivated the love of nurturing children at a very young age. She has been married to Augustine Ngoddy for over thirty-seven years. The marriage is blessed with four children—Uche, Amaka, Chi chi and AJ.
Mrs. Ada’s educational and professional experience include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigerian Nsukka and a Masters degree in Geophysics from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA.
Mrs. Ada went on to teach mathematics at the high school level in counties all over GA, including Fulton and Crisp County. She currently holds a Child Development Associate Certificate in Early Childhood education and NAC, National Administrator Credential. She has since managed the daycare business and designed a unique early childhood program with the specific purpose of creating lifelong learners from birth to adulthood. Mrs. Ada is very active in the childcare industry. A one time president of Southern Crescent Childcare Association, a current member of Georgia Childcare Association, she considers herself not just a childcare provider but an advocate for children. She works tirelessly searching for resources to help families and children. Mrs. Ada was on the Advisory board for the Georgia Commissioner of Early Care and Learning 2013/2014. She served as Chairperson of the advisory council for St. John's the Evangelist Catholic School. She is still serving on the advisory council and also a member of the Mission Effectiveness committee. Every summer she offers at least two teens positions to help them. Mrs. Ada belongs to several cultural organizations some of which she has led as president. She volunteers time and talent in any area that benefits families and children.
Beverly Knox, Director
Ms. Knox has been with Rex Childcare for 24yrs. She has been dedicated to the growth and well being of every child and staff that has entered and attended this center.
Kendra Jackson, Administrative Director
Ms. Jackson has been with Rex Childcare for 20yrs. She has been truly dedicated to the development of the staff and children that have attended the daycare over the years.
Rex Childcare is 2-Star Quality Rated and is licensed under Bright From The Start Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

Rex Childcare & Early Learning Center is an excellent place for children.
We are Quality Rated. Being Quality Rated ensures that we strive to provide quality services and quality support in an always safe and secured environment. We provide the very best for our children and families in the surrounding areas. We are an approved Georgia State full service facility with professional and courteous staff that take pride daily in the lives, education and a safe environment for our children.
We provide resources to support our staff such as trainings and any other resources as needed to help them. We continue to pave the way of high standards from Ages 4 weeks to 14 yrs. Our classes vary from Infant/Toddler Care, Preschool, Private Pre-K, Georgia Pre-K, and Before and After School. We offer Summer Camps, Special Trips and Events.
Some of our family engagement activities include a Fall Festival, Black History Program, Friendship Dance, celebrations around the world and an abundance of programs that create unity and acceptance of other cultures. We collaborate with the library, fire department, police department, health department, local businesses, and our local elected officials to support the wellbeing of all our families.
We also offer Before and Aftercare. Our Aftercare program is very special and was created with a variety of activities specifically for our Aftercare population. We are happy to have your children, and more importantly, we welcome you.
